Buying a business in New Brunswick Canada - Entrepreneur Immigration
New Brunswick has a Provincial emigration stream which allows suitable Entrepreneurs to either set up or buy a business in New Brunswick. The scheme can facilitate both temporary and full residency visas.
In conjunction with starting or buying a business in New Brunswick, the Business Plan stream enables Entrepreneurs to expedite their move to New Brunswick.
In order to be considered for this stream:
- you must have previous management experience with proven success as a senior executive and/or business owner;
- your business skills must be relevant to the business you intend to pursue in New Brunswick;
- you must have sufficient funds to finance the first phase of the planned business venture without third party assistance and to support your family for a period of up to two years (the personal net worth requirement will vary based on business venture proposed);
- you are required to participate in the business in an active managerial role.

50 points are required on the Selection Criteria as shown in the first link above in order for your evaluation form to be considered. A good understanding of English or French is also required.
Once applied for you will be contacted by A New Brunswick Program Officer.
You will also be required to plan an exploratory visit.
And Apply for immigration through the New Brunswick PNP program.
Once a final decision has been made, if successful, you will be nominated and your application sent to the appropriate Visa Office.
